Nomads United AFC's First Kicks is an in-house club programme which is aimed at promoting the “First Kicks” philosophy of New Zealand Footballs Junior Framework for children aged between 4 and 6 years old. The First Kicks programme objectives are to promote the game of football at a young age, teach the basic skills of football including general movement, football techniques and football coordination and provide a fun and enjoyable team environment for the children.

Season Starts: Saturday 26th April 2025
Season Finishes: Saturday 6th September 2025

Saturdays only from 9.30am-10.35am

*Note there are no games scheduled over Kings Birthday weekend (2nd of June 2025), on the 21st of June 2025 (Matariki weekend) or for the 5th of July 2025(middle weekend of school holidays).

Subs for the season: $150 

Late registrations (after 06/04/2025): $160

 

​​The Club provides a playing shirt for the season as part of your membership subscription. ​The club relies on volunteer parents/coaches to manage the teams, if you are able to help out please email admin@nomadsafc.org. Priority of team placement will go to volunteer parents/coaches in the first instance. We will do our best to place all players into a team however we cannot guarantee placement. In the event that we cannot place you in a team you will be provided a full refund of your membership fees.

Parent involvement: Please note that parents/guardians from each team will be required to help with organising their team on the day. There is also an expectation to help set up/pack down the fields and to assist with running of the BBQ for at least one session during the season. A timetable will be sent out once teams have been finalised.

Social Media: It's common Club practice to share photos of players attending our sessions on our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. If you do NOT want your child to be included in these photos on our socials, please advise the club in writing by emailing: admin@nomadsafc.org.

​​​Scorching Goal Football Fund​

​The Scorching Goal Football Fund has been established to assist children and youth attending primary or secondary school, aged between 5 years and 18 years who are from financially disadvantaged families or backgrounds, and where finance is a barrier to participation, either at club level, across development programmes or at representative level.

This is not a fund established to specifically support talented players but is rather about providing children and youth with the opportunity to continue to participate in football.
